After getting the newly purchased jar, check if there is any bump or breakage on the exterior of the jar, if the interior is dry, and if there are any foreign objects inside the jar. After ensuring these, we can start filling the liquid nitrogen.
When filling liquid nitrogen, pre-cool the tank, pour in a small amount of liquid nitrogen first, and then fill it afterwards. The liquid nitrogen should be filled in a well-ventilated place, as far as possible outdoors. If it is necessary to do it indoors, open the windows and doors to maintain good ventilation to avoid the danger of low oxygen content caused by the evaporation of liquid nitrogen into the air. Filling with liquid nitrogen should be done slowly and in small quantities to make the filling process smoother. The first injection of liquid nitrogen should be about one-third of the volume of the Dewar bottle, and then the liquid nitrogen tank should be left to cool for 24 hours and then gradually filled to the required capacity.
It is important to note that the liquid nitrogen should be filled with good protection, as the ultra-low temperature of liquid nitrogen may cause frostbite to human body.
