Panasonic’s new AG-HMC41 Pro Compact AVCHD camera uses low cost, readily available SD/SDHC memory cards, offering high reliability, superior mobility, and advanced IT functions. The tapeless AG-HMC41 features a 12x optical zoom lens, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), and a newly developed ¼.1 inch, 3.05 megapixel (approx. 2 megapixels/effective image pixels), progressive 3MOS. With a variety of manual functions; the AG-HMC41 is applicable to a wide range of video production tasks, and with a fast IT based workflow the AG-HMC41 lets you transfer recorded files directly to a computer for quick nonlinear editing and for rapid distribution to the web. The HMC41 uses AVCHD compression to capture superior quality at twice the compression efficiency of MPEG2. The exclusive PH mode allows outstanding quality recordings at a higher bit rate (max 24 Mbps).
