I am really happy with this watch. It was my first G-Shock.
I have smaller wrists and the only grievance is that the band can easily make a tiny bit of noise on the smaller configurations. The look of it is great. The shade is outstanding (however, like others have said duller than pictured which is a good thing in my mind).
It can be a tiny bit bought to read the time in specific dark scenarios. But I adore it, its a fashion and practical watch.
This watch was my first G shock I originally was going to purchase a black that is till my sister showed me this one. Hesitant I offered it a shot and it paid off. It is an excellent size and does not feel heavy at all. I have had it for about 3 months now and have received heaps of complements on it. Like additional reviews this watch is not as bright as the picture shows but even more satin. The only unfavorable is the light up is pretty fragile and doesn't really light up the digital time. However noting major to not give this 5 stars most definitely advise.
Bought this watch for my 14 YO son. This was the only thing on his birthday wish list. Did not know it was so prominent. My very first idea was that it was going to be way too huge for my very slender boy. I was wrong. Although the watch is marketed as XL, it has numerous holes that permits even the skinniest of people to wear. My son likes it and it looks wonderful on him. Money well spent.
I have been looking all over Canada for a trendy red G-Shock watch, and finally i found an incredibly stylish one for a reasonable cost. My only complaints are the vibrance of the red is a little overstated in the pic and the straps of the watch are a little loose however besides that it goes excellent with your clothing and produces very wonderful photography. I am totally delighted with my purchase.
