About Treadmills
Walking is still considered one of the most beneficial cardiovascular exercises for people of all ages, body types, and fitness levels. As a fundamental form of aerobic training, walking has numerous physical benefits for the heart, lungs, and circulatory system, while also increasing muscle tone and burning fat calories. Treadmills provide a convenient way to regularly exercise in all weather conditions in the comfort and safety of your own home.Sole TT8 , Sole F83, Kettler Axos Cross P, Weslo Cadence G-40, ProForm 850, Diamondback Fitness 510Ic, First Degree Fitness, Life Fitness CT9500HR, StairMaster SM5, Bowflex Treadclimber TC5300, XG-10 Whole Body, Game Rider Pro, Smooth Fitness SMT-935I, Power Plate my5, Proform 610 RT , Sole S77, Endurance B3R , Fitnex R70, Fitnex R40-S, LifeSpan TR 800, Precor EFX 5.31, Proform Power 1080 , Bladez H914 , Bladez Fitness Aero PRO, LifeSpan Fitness Pro3, StairMaster 4600CL , AFG 3.0 AE, Spirit Esprit EL-355, StairMaster SC916, Kettler Unix P 7652-000 , Pacific A R Rower, FreeMotion 790, Bicycle Generator, Horizon Fitness Treadmill, First Degree Fitness, StairMaster SC5, PROFORM XP CROSSWALK 580, Smooth Fitness 8.35, Schwinn 420, First Degree Fitness Viking , Best Fitness BFT2, Precor EFX 576i, GymyGym Ergonomic , Bladez Fitness SX Pro, Health Mark VF81003, Merit Fitness 715T , AFG 4.1 AE, SUNLITE EXERCISER SUNLT F5,

From beginners just starting an exercise regimen to advanced athletes looking to maintain their fitness level, anyone interested in getting and staying in shape can benefit greatly from regular use of a treadmill. Treadmills allow you to determine the pace, distance, and complexity of the workout based on your needs, all while watching television, talking on the telephone, or reading a magazine. Much easier on sensitive joints like the knees and hips, treadmill walking and running surfaces are typically long, padded platforms that allow ample room for a long stride and comfortable, low-impact walk or jog without the harsh contact of a concrete surface.

While many different types, styles, and price ranges of treadmills exist, many of them offer unique features like a fold-up design for easy storage, an electronic display monitor showing speed, distance, workout time, incline level, and burned calories, and EKG grip pulses to monitor the heart rate while exercising. Regardless of the simple to complex features you may choose, treadmills offer an array of aerobic exercise opportunities that will provide long-lasting beneficial cardiovascular results without a commute to the gym or a jog in the rain.Pacemaster Bronze Basic, Multisports ST-2200, First Degree Fitness, ProForm Crosswalk 590, Sole F83, StairMaster 7000 PT , Precor 9.33, Endurance T10HRC , Lifecore R88, Minotaur Fitness X-treme, Stamina CPSIndoor, Stamina Airgometer Exercise , Schwinn 860 , DKN Technology Xg3, Endurocycle 200, Precor EFX 5.21 , Nautilus T516, Lifecore Fitnes LC950RBS , HCI RXT-1000, Livestrong LS Pro2, First Degree Fitness Neptune , StreetStrider Eclipse, LifeSpan Fitness TR100, G Power G-Pro, Proform 590 SPX, Proform Power 995, ProRower H2O RX-750, Sole F63, Sole E25, Velocity Fitness Magnetic, Precor Premium 9.31 , Schwinn IC Pro Indoor , LifeSpan Fitness TR4000i , Horizon Fitness T203, Life Fitness F1 , ProForm 590 T, Precor EFX 5.25 , Bowflex TC5000, WaterRower A1, With Computer Keiser, Spirit Esprit EL-455, Total Gym Cyclo , Best Fitness E1 , Precor EFX 546i, Proform 315 IC, Proform 490 SPX, ProForm 510 E, Livestrong LS8.0E, Proform 6.0 CE

Looking for a basic treadmill? Check out this one! It is exactly what I was searching for: no frills, level walking area, monitors time, distance, calories & walking speed. I agree that the walking area is short but I am 5'3" which works perfectly for me. I can see that it may be a problem for those with long strides.Velocity Fitness Magnetic, Proform Performance 1450, Precor 240i , Livestrong LS13.0T, DUAL MOTOR Whole Body, Livestrong LS6.0R, Smooth Fitness CE-3.6, LifeSpan Fitness VP-1000 , Exerpeutic TF1000, Phoenix 98623, Phoenix 98623, LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i, Schwinn 460, Best Fitness Elliptical , Horizon Fitness EX-79 , HCI Fitness Sprint , Stamina 15-9003, Precor EFX 5.23, Kettler Kadett Outrigger, Precor 9.27, Precor 9.23, Livestrong LS13.0E, ProForm Pro 4500, Sole F85, Livestrong LS5.0R , Diamondback Fitness 1260Ef, Bladez Fitness Jet GS, Proform 990 CSE, Proform 10.0 CE , Livestrong LS10.0E , ProForm Le Tour De, LifeSpan Fitness TR200, Sole F80, Horizon Fitness EX-57, Livestrong LS8.0T, Schwinn 450, Schwinn 431 , Nautilus E514, Horizon Fitness T202, Livestrong LS5.0U, Proform ZT3, Sole E95, Schwinn AD2 , Nautilus U514, Concept2 Model E , Horizon Evolve SG, Schwinn 420 , Proform 6.0 ZE, Schwinn A40,

It weighs 100 pounds which required my nephew's strength to carry into the house. The assembly is fairly easy. The walking area/belt is already assembled. The arms & legs have to be attached (easy). The display unit has to have its electric connections connected (fairly easy). Then attach the display unit to the designated front bar (also fairly easy). You are supposed to apply the enclosed oil to the belt once a year (already done before it ships for the first year). This item is supposed to hold a 350 pound person. I think it would.

My only complaint about this treadmill is that it is very difficult to restart after pulling the "kill switch" (which I did test). I followed the directions in the booklet which comes with this and it still took several manual restarts before the treadmill would operate. I repeated this several times to see if it still followed this pattern and it does. However, it is very easy to power the treadmill down or just hit the stop switch to stop it so I cannot see a real need for the kill switch.

I let my feet roll of the belt and still had no problems regaining balance ( I am 62 years old & not as agile as once was). Of course, I would never allow children or animals around this without adult supervision while it is running.

The electronic display has a button to start and stop the machine as well as a control to increase/decrease the speed & mode, reset, set buttons all which function properly. It also displays the speed, time, etc. On the right arm are buttons to increase/decrease speed. On the left arm are buttons for on/off & mode. It is very easy to hit these buttons and I have shut down the machine many times by accidentally hitting the off/on button. The machine has to run a minimum of 4 minutes before it is turned off or you have to do the manual shut down/restart (a pain in the uh-huh). I have put a wire near this button to keep my hand from hitting the button accidentally.

I had a treadmill years ago which was too loud to hear tv nearby. This treadmill is fairly quiet. I have no problems watching tv while walking and can talk on phone with no problems

I needed a level treadmill as I have several problems with a foot. This treadmill is great for my needs. I will watch to see how it works a year from now. So far I love it!
After reading numerous reviews of treadmills, and after cheking out a number of them at retail stores in person, I chose the Pardigm Treadmill. The best price of ANY place was Amazon. I realize I just happen to live close to a point which made shipping unbelievably fast, but even if it took more than several days it would have been alright and it would have been worth the wait.

I agree with all the positive comments that other people had to say about this product in their reviews, and I experienced none of any kind of negaitve things that only a few encountered.Diamondback Fitness 910Ub , Merit Fitness 725T , Smooth Fitness Agile, Proteus PAR-5500, Spinner Fit Home, Multisports Fitness 200, AFG 4.0 AR , CycleOps 300 Pro, Cycleops 200 Pro, Smooth Fitness 6.75, Bowflex Series 7, ProForm Pro 2500, Proform Power 1080, Precor 9.35, Elliptical Trainer Machine , Sunny 3 in 1 , Bowflex TreadClimber, Diamondback Fitness 910Sr, Xterra Tr6.55 , Endurance B2R, Proform Trailrunner 2.0, WaterRower Classic Rowing , CYBEX 360A , Fitness Master X Series, WaterRower Oxbridge Rowing, Smooth Fitness 7.35, Smooth Fitness Agile DMT-X2, Livestrong LS Pro1, Spirit Esprit ET-388, BFSB5 Chain Drive, ProForm 710 E, Proform Trailrunner 4.0 , Sole F80, Proform 790 T , LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000-HRC , Helix Lateral Trainer, SmoothFlow R80, ProForm 925, Nautilus NB3000, Fitnex X5 Kids, Exerpeutic Heavy Duty, Stamina 7250, Health Mark Osci Health, Precor EFX 546, Stamina CPS 9190, Sunny SF-B1003, V2300 Elliptical Bike, Sole E35

It was as easy to "assemble" as many people had said. It took just a few minutes and required nothing more that a screwdriver, a pair of pliers and the allen wrench supplied in the box. It comes already assembeld for the most part. Very little left to do to put it into operation.
