Product Description
A classic winter boot redesigned in a more versatile and warmer package, the Columbia Men's Bugaboot Plus Snow Boots take comfy feet to the next level. Stepping it up, the Bugaboot added exclusive Omni-Heat insulation and thermal reflective technologies for an even warmer foot and toasty toes. Like a space blanket for your feet, Omni-Heat reflects your own body heat back into the boot, amplifying the effect of the insulation. Its waterproof leather upper gives sturdy support, while articulation at the collar enhances freedom of movement. The new super lightweight full-length Techlite shell that is near half the weight as previous versions is skinned with TPU-coated leather for durability and abrasion resistance. The Columbia Sportswear Men's Bugaboot Plus Snow Boots also features a dual compound Omni-Grip lug outsole that is temperature sensitive, varying hardness depending on terrain surfaces.

Put simply, these boots are warm and comfortable. I bought these in anticipation of winter, and was greeted by a couple snowy days immediately after receiving these. The first day, they were of course a bit stiff, and the insole was a tad slick. after a day though, the boots loosened a little, and the insole formed to my foot, which was nice. As far as boots go, these are fairly lightweight, and yet are definitely warm as advertised. I have had no issues with the eyelets. I am guessing that issues with this last year have been resolved at this point, because it hasnt been an issue for me at all. They seem to be reasonably slip resistant, but I would necessarily go wandering around looking for a patch of ice to test them on. These definitely exceeded my expectations, and for such a reasonable price, I cant think of any reason not to own a pair. I'm glad that I now do.
I ordered these in Turkish Coffee and they are extremely ugly, but I didn't buy them to win a fashion show. I wore them out on a hike yesterday: 10 miles round at a fast pace with big elevation gains. I didn't bother to break them in, but there was no discomfort or blisters after. Kept my feet warm and dry. I even ran in them because I was getting bored on the decline.

I tugged on the lace hooks to see if they were going to fall out like a few people had reported. Mine, at least, are well attached.

I will continue to wear these though out the winter. If I run into an issue I will update my rating but so far these have been excellent boots.
Surprisingly comfortable and lighter in weight (a good thing) than I expected. It's still hot in Atlanta, so I haven't worn them for more than an afternoon walk-around inside the house to make sure of the fit before a December vacation. (Pretty funny looking with shorts) This sort of cold winter wear is new to me, living in a warmer climate, and I expected heavy and awkward. NOT SO. If, after my trip, I have anything additional to add, I will, but so far so good. I suppose the problem with buying anything like this so far ahead of the time I'll use them can mean problems with returns, but I hope I won't have to.
Man when I saw these boots online, i kept on saying yes ill get them, no i wont, yes, no. having a fight with myself if i wanted to get them. Ive never ordered snow boots before and when these got here, i was like WOW! Every one thinks these boots are great. I think they are awesome. Great price for a great pair of boots.

Im a Truck Driver and wanted a pair of warm Winter Boots. These are my first pair of Colubia Boots.
First about these boots, very Comfortable. The comfort has spoiled me. They are very warm and I've never had a problem with my feet getting wet. I've read alot of reviews about the upper and lower separating but, I've had these boots since December and it's now the Middle of June and, they are still like new except for the tread on the bottom soles wearing a bit.
I go up and down metal Ramps off loading bread and the ramp is very hard on any shoes and the Columbia Bugaboots are made very well. I like these so well I'm still wearing them in June. We've had alot of Rain for the Spring so these keep your feet dry.
Columbia please make these for Warm season, I love the comfort of these boots. I like these so well I've ordered another pair.
Columbia stands behind their products, just keep your receipt. Highly recommended.
The boots looked great and worked fine for the first couple of days, even snow shoeing at Denali park. On more extreme conditions, at around -25F and with nice socks, my toes were freezing, but still, I thought the boots were good enough. Then, one of the eyelets popped out when I tied my boots. This is not acceptable for this kind of boots, so I just ended up returning them. These boots are too comfortable and too good looking to wear around the farm. They are warm, durable, stylish, waterproof half way up, and they fit perfectly. Extremely happy. Excellent purchase!!!
I should have listened to the other reviews about these boots. I love Columbia products, but something is really wrong with their quality control. I didn't even get time to try them on and noticied an eyelet dangeling from a lace. Amazon needs to do a better job of checking products they sell as well. The box should have, at least, been opened prior to shipping. Especially knowing the history of defective eyelets with these boots. Read the other reviews. Make your own decision, like me. I say stay away from these boots though. I'm getting a refund and looking for other boots.
I bought these boots for the winter. My main goal was to keep my pants and socks dry while walking in the snow. These boots are really high, but still comfortable to walk in. They did the job perfectly and were really warm. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good pair of winter boots.
