Bought this car seat after reading critics reviews who said it was the best (apart from the priorifix). It is quite heavy but it feels as sturdy as it should and my daughter loves how comfortable it is (she now even falls asleep during short journeys which is not like her!)

The only downside is the hook that is supposed to hold the clip so the baby doesnt sit on it does not hold very well, which means you have to be quite careful when putting baby in so you dont knock it off. This is fantastic! As I don't drive yet I am regularly moving this car seat between my car and friends and relatives cars. It is really easy to fit and very secure once fitted. There is an extra seatbelt tightener which alot of other car seats don't have and it really makes the seat secure. The different reclining positions are so handy as sometimes my baby doesn't want to be lying right back but is very tired (as im sure you parents will understand) so by just reclining it by one or two clicks its enough to trick him into sleep!! :-) Its quite easy to recline by reaching back from the front seat. It looks and feels very comfortable and the straps are easy to adjust and tighten. The clips for putting the seat belt out of the way while putting baby in seat are very useful too.

Just an addition to this review as I have just taken off the cover to wash for the first time and I found it relatively easy to do. The instruction manual wasn't much help in doing it but I managed fine anyway. The instruction say dont machine wash but I have friends who have machine washed theirs so I decided to go for it and am glad I did. I machine washed on delicates 30degrees and it came out looking like new! I couldn't remove the shoulder pads as they were stitched on although the instruction booklet said they were removable, but I gave them a wash with a cloth and they came up fine too. Cover wasn't too difficult to put back on either and it looks lovely and fresh again! This is an important factor as we all know how messy our little ones get in the car

We needed a new chair as we were planning to drive to the South of FRance and wanted to make sure our pumpkin (9 months, big girl) was comfortable, more comfortable than in the maxi cosi infant one (she always looked squashed and bent inhalf in that one). In any case this chair is brilliant and she loves it. Even when we are not driving and I am sitting at the back giving her a cuddle, she will pull herself towards the chair and try to climb in. As our journey was pretty long we put it into the reclining position and have actually left it like that. I can highly recommend this chair. Oh, at first we struggled to find the 'release button' for the straps - it is inside the grey plastic button, which is in the middle of the seat (bottom) ...

We already had one of these seats in black. Great colour although not as vivid a pink as the picture suggests. The pattern hides any marks. Easy to fit and a good style of seat if you need to take the seat in and out of the car to swap to another car - pretty easy and quick to do.

This seat has always been great for my first daughter - and is easy to clean, no matter what others say - I've always found it super quick to take the covers off to wash - even if its been vomited on. My second daughter is now coming up to needed the next car seat up and I will be buying the Priori XP again. It is the easiest car seat to fit, that I have had experience of, and has fit in all 3 of our cars. A Seat Ibiza, Vauxhall Meriva and a Seat Arosa. I would definately recommend.
